To the Bridge

After clearing the park, go north, where you’ll find a black bird and a couple of bushes you can hit with the bird to get Inspiration.

Continue north to a climbable cliff and then proceed north until you find a hole in the wall. Play the harmonica to uncover a friendly worm.

Hop on the worm to get to the other side, and then climb up the cliff here.

Collect Inspiration and go down the cliff to the east, where you’ll find a rolled-up ladder. Unroll it so that you can get down.

Continue east over the very long tree trunk, until you find another worm hole. As before, get across it with the help of your harmonica.

Go east, then north to find a tree trunk with a rock on one side of it.

Jump onto the tree trunk from the left side and pick up the rock. Go to the far right on the tree trunk, so that the right side is lowered, and place the rock on the trunk there.

Make sure the rock is on the trunk and not on the ground, then run left and get on the higher cliff.

Push the next tree trunk to bridge the gap and cross it. Continue west then north to meet Moominmamma.

Continue northeast to find Moominpappa, and talk to him to get the quest “The Missing Boat”. You will also learn about Moominpappa’s masterpiece, which you can now collect across the world you explore.

For now, let’s go find the bridge where Snufkin is to meet Moomintroll. You can go north to find a giant ant hill, but we don’t have much business there at present.

Go northeast from Moominpappa to find the bridge. Approach the bridge for a cutscene. This grants you a new main quest, “Moomintroll is Missing”.

Go east from the bridge to find Little My. Talk to her and you’ll get a new lead on Moomintroll with the quest “Did the Groke Take Moomintroll?”.

Did the Groke Take Moomintroll?

To find the Groke, you must follow the frosty trail leading east and then south. Continue until you find a couple of police officers, and talk to them.

After the fruitful conversation with the police officers, go east past the scared critters until you reach a boulder. Either push or pull the boulder until you can pass through.

Continue following the frosty trail east, under the slanting tree trunks, then south. You will eventually encounter a cutscene featuring the Groke.

In the next segment, you must quickly run away from the Groke. Remember to sprint as much as you can (although you will be slowed in the mud).

Remember to jump off the bridging trunk, and when you get to the boulder, roll it either left or right.

You’ll be safe once you climb up the cliff. Proceed east and unroll the ladder ahead.

Continue down the path to find evidence of Moomintroll’s presence, and proceed until the Groke returns. As before, run away from the her.

You’ll encounter a boulder that you must push to the right and then a tree trunk that you must push to bridge the gap. Remember that you have to jump on and off the trunk!

Continue west after this, jumping across gaps as you go, across bridging tree trunks, and follow the path until you reach a dead end.

When the ladder is unrolled, climb up to meet the Hedgehog.

After the cutscenes, go west to find a couple of police officers. After the conversation with them, attempt to leave the area through every direction.

Another cutscene follows. After this, walk near the fires to direct the Groke to extinguish them. Simply continue through the linear path, putting out the fires until you put out a campfire.

Cross the bridging tree trunk now and talk to the police officers, which triggers a cutscene. After the cutscene, you’ll be granted a Flute – another musical instrument, which you can use in certain contexts.

This completes the quest “Did the Groke Take Moomintroll”.
