Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough of Superliminal! Much of the best parts of Superliminal involve figuring out a tricky puzzle by yourself, so I recommend you only consult this guide when you absolutely are stuck!

Level 5

Start with turning off the alarm and heading out, as usual. Go past the office and the corridors… and then turn off the alarms again.

Go back out into the office and past it. Interact with the green door and move it away to proceed.

In the next room, you need to place something on the green button to open the door, but everything is bolted down.

Go back to grab the green door and place it on the green button to keep the next green door open.

Beyond the green door, go right and then you’ll find yourself at a green door that… duplicates.

Keep duplicating the door into smaller and smaller iterations, then stand on the doors and jump right over the wall, next to the pipe.

Proceed through the next door and into another room that has an alarm on a table. Duplicate the alarm repeatedly to form a ‘staircase’ of alarms and jump on these alarms to get to the high door.

Proceed through the next corridor, into a room with an apple. Duplicate the apple right above itself, so that the falling apple displaces the original apple. This un-presses the button, opening the door and letting you through.

Remember that you can return the duplicated objects, so use that if you need to remove the duplicated apple.

In the next room, you have a giant apple and a giant fan.

You need to get an apple onto the green button. To do this, stand on the upper floor, just behind the green button, facing the apple. Keep duplicating the apples keeping the button in view, so that the apples eventually get duplicated onto the button itself, rather than on the floor below.

Head through the door and through the next corridor.

In the next room, keep duplicating the Somnasculpt board in front of you until you can climb on top of the boards and onto the uppermost floor. Jump through the whole on top to land in the corridor beyond.

Continue on through the corridors that follow and enter the elevator to go to the next level.
