Part 10
In the area with three puzzles to solve, we’ll solve the puzzles in the order we originally acquired each sphere.
This means that the orange sphere is up first. If you’d like to solve a different sphere first, simply scroll down to the appropriate header in this walkthrough page for Cocoon.
Orange Sphere
Pick up the orange sphere and go west, over the crystalized path and over to the purple button. Press this button three times and then go west to the jump pad.
Use the jump pad, then the next jump pad and press the purple button to be taken to the orange puzzle area.
Here, go to the northern section of this area, where to the northwest you’ll find a buried robot’s dock. Put your sphere in the dock to unearth the robot.
Go south with the robot and then up the stairs. Have the robot crystalize the path for you by following you. Lead the robot until the robot is standing over the pressure pad on the floor.
Then, pick up the sphere from the robot and quickly run past the closing red gate. The other gate will be opened now, so simply go north.
Once clear of both gates, go east and then south to find a button. Press the button to create a ramp that will allow your robot to follow you up there. Then go to the robot and put the sphere on it to re-activate the robot.
Proceed north from the button to have the robot get into the blinking dock. When you can, grab the orange ball to be airlifted from this area, back to the main hub of spheres.
When you reach the hub, let go of the sphere.
Green Sphere
Grab the green sphere now and go east. Phase shift in the moving block three times to be taken to the green sphere’s puzzle area.
Drop the green sphere in the pipe inlet here and proceed east through the bars. Retrieve the sphere by going west and then phase shift up the misty green pillar.
Go north and put your sphere in the next pipe inlet here.
Follow the sphere south and then east, then retrieve the sphere from where it was deposited.
You’ll find yourself in a red disc-shaped area. The buried robot is located to the northeast, so go ahead and put your sphere on it to activate it.
Have the robot follow you to the jump pad, and then pick up the sphere to immobilize the robot on the jump pad. Go to the purple button down the stairs and press it to launch the robot onto the lower area.
Now go to the pipe inlet to your east (up the stairs) and put the sphere in it to get the sphere closer to the robot.
Go west past the jump pad, down the stairs, pick up the sphere to put it on the robot again. Have the robot follow you all the way to the pillar you can phase shift.
While on the pillar, pick up the sphere, turn away from the robot, and phase shift down. Put the sphere back on the robot (who will have come down with you).
Now have the robot stand on the pressure pad to the southeast, and pick up the sphere to immobilize the robot on the pressure pad.
Return to the misty green pillar and phase shift your way up. Now go east down the stairs, and go west across the bridge that was activated by the robot on the pressure pad.
Put your sphere back on the robot and proceed to the western misty green pillar. Pick up your sphere from the robot and phase shift up, with the robot coming up as well.
Put your green sphere back on the robot and approach the blinking robot dock to complete the green sphere’s puzzle.
Grab the sphere to catch a ride to the main hub, then let go of the sphere to get back to solving puzzles.
Purple Sphere
Next, we’ll solve the purple sphere’s puzzle. For this one, you can’t bring any spheres into the puzzle area, so put down that purple sphere if you picked it up.
Go northwest through the bars and then west to find a purple bulb, which you can use to retrieve your purple sphere.
Put this sphere on the dock to the east. When the elevator comes down, retrieve the sphere from the bulb on the elevator, which will take you up the elevator.
From the elevator, go east and you’ll find your ‘buried’ robot on a purple walkway towards the south. Put the sphere in the robot’s dock to unearth it.
Now go to the northwest area here, up the stairs, and put have the robot stand to the south of the pressure pad, on the spot shown below.
Pick up the sphere to immobilize the robot on this spot and then go down the stairs, then up the stairs to the west, where you will be stopped by a series of bars.
Just south of these bars, you’ll find a dock where you can stash your sphere. Put your sphere here and proceed through the bars.
Retrieve the sphere from any of the purple bulbs around the jump pad, and then use the jump pad. Mid-jump, put your sphere onto the robot.
Now wait for the robot to step on the pressure pad, and quickly retrieve your sphere from one of the purple bulbs leading up to the gates. Run past the closing and opening gates, to get to the other side with your sphere.
Go east to the blinking robot dock and then south up the stairs until you find a purple button. Press this button to create a ramp.
Go down the ramp and put your sphere back on the robot, who’s sitting atop the pressure pad. Have the robot follow you up the ramp and to the blinking dock up north.
Grab the purple sphere when you can, so that you’re taken back to the hub. Let go of the sphere when you can.
With this, you’ve finished all three spheres’ puzzles. A drag-ball is unlocked – grab it and drag it all the way the end of its path for a surprise.
When you’re ready, stand on the hopper and hop out of what is the white sphere.
Pick up the white sphere when you can, and go south, then east into a brave new world.
