Laika: Aged Through Blood Walkthrough

Welcome to part 6 of Into Indie Games’ walkthrough for Laika: Aged Through Blood.

Go back to the boat talk to Roy. Drive the boat to the left to the furthest you can go. And hit the harpoon gun in this location (check the map below).

Go up the rope bridge. Go up the steep climb and activate the checkpoint. Keep going right and jump on the upper ramp to a bird with a machine gun on top. Take it out at the apex of your jump. Now, use the half-pipe ramp to jump to the right. Drop down and activate the checkpoint. Move to the right and drop down, killing the bird on your way down. Keep moving right till you come across another bird. Keep moving left across the sign that says “kitchen” and head down. Activate the checkpoint and head down from there to the large shipping containers to take the bird out there.

Jump up the ramp the bird was standing on and take down the bird in front of you. Go up the ramp to the right and kill the bird with the machine gun on top of the second floor. There are 3 gears in front of you now. Shoot the right bottom one to lift the door, go across and hit the left bottom one to drop the door.

Move to the left and shoot the chest in front of you for more High-Speed Cables. Jump across the gap and hit the checkpoint. Head to the left back where the Kitchen is. Keep moving left and activate the checkpoint, jump across the gap and drop down killing the bird below.

Keep dropping down and then take out the other two birds there. Head back down to the boat and move a little bit forward and use the harpoon on the location on the left (check picture)

Go up the rope bridge. Activate the checkpoint and go up the ramp, killing both birds on top of you. Keep moving left up the giant cables till you hit the checkpoint. Turn right and go up the cable here to kill the bird on top. Jump on the next cable ramp and shoot the chest and honey comb across you.

Keep moving right till you hit the checkpoint and jump across to the rope bridge to the other side. Hit the checkpoint and kill the two birds that come up. Keep moving right, drop down the slope and kill the bird at the bottom. Shoot the honeycomb on top. Now turn left, and head down. In front of you are two loop de loops with exhaust fans. Go around and kill the birds.

Hit the checkpoint and jump across for the chest. Turn around and head down to the right. Keep heading down and killing the birds on the way. Head down and right across till you reach another bird. Shoot it. Keep going till you reach 3 red gears. (Check Picture)

Go across and shoot the right one. Once you have all the loot from this area. Head back to the boat. Keep going right till you the location on the map below. Shoot your harpoon to create a rope bridge on the left side.

Keep moving left up the rope bridge and up the ramp turning and landing on the right side. Head left now across the jump. The doorway should be open now, so go across. Keep moving left. Keep going up till you hit the half pipe with a bird on top.

Go up the ramp and shoot the bird, land and keep moving right now. Shoot the birds in front of the shipping containers. Go up the ramp and across the steep climb using your shotgun recoil. Jump down and across the broken platforms, taking out the bird on your way. Another bird with a machine gun at the end. Turn left and head down. Shoot the bird and the chest.

Shoot the blocked door and the bird beyond it. This opens up a shortcut for later. Head back to the right. Go the the farthest wall on the right, ride up it, and recoil onto the platform with the chest. Take the chest and jump across. Take the second chest. Drop down, go back to the wall on the right and go up it. At the top of the jump, recoil on to the platform with the checkpoint.

Jump across the containers and take the birds out. You should have reached the second antennae.

Shoot it to destroy it. Shoot the honeycomb and head back down. Jump down at the broken platforms and head to the left. At the checkpoint turn and head to the right. Get back to the boat. Sail to the left now till you get to the location in the picture below.

Shoot the harpoon to create the rope bridge and ride it up. Jump on to the cable and keep moving right.

Shoot the bird on top of the cables, ride the loop de loop up and keep moving left till you hit the wall to jump up on top to the kitchen. Shoot the honeycomb and go back and get on the cable moving toward the right. Kill the bird and then turn left to jump across to the platform on the other side. Go up and ride the giant cable loop de loop, killing the bird standing in the middle of it.

Move left and down to activate the checkpoint and ride across the rope bridge. Activate the checkpoint and drop down the other side of the left most wall. As you drop down there is a bird, take it out. And drop down again. There will be two more birds here, take them out. Drop down till you see three more gears and Renato.

Go across and get your map updated then come back on this side and shoot the left gear to raise the door below. Go up the ramps, the way you came till you hit the checkpoint and the dual rope bridges we crossed earlier. Go back across the giant cable loop de loop and below. Keep heading down, shooting all the birds in your way. Go back to the boat and move left till you hit the location in the picture below, it’s the dock right across.

Use the harpoon and create the rope bridge to move up to the platform. Keep moving left. Shoot the birds and move across the rope bridge to the right. At the far right, turn and move up. Go across the rope bridge here and activate the checkpoint to the left. Turn and move to the right and up the ramp, killing the birds on the top. Jump on the second floor ramp here and take the chest.

Jump across to the right and kill the bird. Jump across to the left and kill the bird. Jump to the left to the topmost left platform and then jump to the right to kill the two birds. You are at the 3rd antennae. Shoot it to destroy it.

Drop back down to the boat. Move to the left now. Dock at the location in the picture below.

Go up the rope bridge and move left till you hit the open loop de loop. Use you shotgun recoil at the top of the loop to land on the right-side platform. Shoot the chest there and move back towards the left. Jump across and shoot the bird there. Jump up to the platform with the rope bridge and shoot the bird here and the one on top in one go. Turn Laika around and go across the rope bridge.

Ride across the bridge to the right side of the map, to where Renato is. Update your map. Turn back and jump to the platform across to take the chest. Get back up on the rope bridge. Move to the right to the checkpoint and then go up the wall.  At the top of the jump, shotgun recoil Laika to move backwards towards the platform with the chest.

Go up the wall on the left and shotgun jump to the platform on the right. On top there are 4 birds, two behind entrenched machine guns. Don’t go up this way. Move to the left till you find another rope bridge. Kill the birds here and approach the situation from this side. After you kill them all, hit the 4th antennae.

The Quest: Radio Silence will be updated. Hurry back to the boat. Shoot all the birds on your way down and save Roy from the birds on the boat. Head all the way left to the lighthouse. Prepare for a boss fight. It’s the Boss: A Gargantuan Swimcrab.

Laika

Keep riding upwards dodging the bubbles he shoots. It’s kind of bullet-hell-y at this point. Standing still and slightly adjusting is the best strategy I employed. He shoots some shells at you, that you can block with the bottom of your bike. After a bit, a bird pilot will pop out of the top of the crab. Shoot him to take out a 3rd of the boss’ health. Keep moving up and taking out the birds on your way up. Dodge the bubbles, red and blue both. The blue bubbles dont kill you, just move you around. Conversely, You can shoot them too. Again, a bird will pop out at the bottom of the screen, shoot him. Keep moving up, killing the birds on your way up. Final time, just stand still, block the shells with your bike bottom. Dodge or shoot the bubbles. The bird pilot will pop out for the final time. Shoot it to end the fight. “Enjoy” the cutscene with Laika standing at the top of the Lighthouse.

The Quest: Radio Silence is updated. You get a new Cassette: My Destiny back at Area: Where We Live. Talk to Hilda for the Quest: From Mother to Daughter. Go to sleep and in the morning talk to Carey about the Quest: Worse than Nightmares. Talk to Zooey to upgrade your shotgun. Talk to the Petey for the Quest: The Prophecy. Go to the shack in the picture to the Area: Where Shaza Tinkers.

Talk to her to finish the Quest: Radio Silence.
