Section 1 (Scurvydogs)
Welcome! …to wherever we are. While there’s a lot to interact with on this screen, this walkthrough will follow the tasks that you are required to do to proceed. Begin by entering the shop next to the ‘scurvydog’ sign. Once inside, ask the ‘counter guy about stuff’ and then ask him for a couple of scurvydogs.
As you’re going to need some money, you’ll have to explore the outhouse as Chuckie suggests. To do so, you’ll need the outhouse key. You’ll find this key hanging on the wall in the back, next to the window (provided you are still in the scurvydog shop). Interact with the key (it’s on a peg leg) and then snag it.
Head out of the shop and go a little left to find the outhouse (it has a crescent-moon-shaped symbol on it). You can’t open it right away – you need to reach into your inventory, grab the outhouse key and then use it on the outhouse door. Whenever you are asked to use an item from the inventory, this is how you’re going to do it.
On unlocking, you’ll enter immediately. Observe the floor for a little metal thing (it’s near the door). Interact with it and then pick it up.
Head out of the outhouse and then back to the shop. Give the slug from your inventory to the counter guy.
When you’re back out of the shop, head all the way right and exit the screen.
