To pick up the trail for the Haunting Case: Deadeye, go to this area of the map (as marked).

As you make your way through the wolves and the wanderers coming in from the south of the map, you will run into Theodore.

As you speak to him, he will let you know he is being haunted by Flora Abbott. He will ask you to pick up his equipment from a nearby cave. Take the path to the left and turn towards the back and you will find a climbing rope.

Climb up to the ledge and you will meet Floraโ€™s ghost. Watch the scene unfold and make sure to ask her about why she is after Theodore.

After that run to the right and vault over the fallen tree and keep going (follow the map marker). Kill the Alpha Glutton that spawns. Pick up the loot and head up the mountain, sticking to the path. Run across the wooden bridge, where you will discover Hollow Pike. Answer Red as you see fit as you make your way up and to the left.

Once you reach the intersection turn to the left towards the cart and head into the watch tower. Go up the stairs and inspect the echo. Perform a Harkening ritual.

Watch the scene play out and you will receive the second hint about Flora. Pick up all the items strewn about the room and head back out and to the left. You will find a place to drop down from, rappel down from there.

At the blood splatter at the bottom, you can perform another Ritual but you need Floraโ€™s Rifle. Turn around and head to the left towards the cave.

Once inside, turn to the left till you find the climbable wall and head up. Once you get up, turn to the left and jump across the gap to the other side. Turn around and you will find Theodoreโ€™s cave lit up by a blue flame.

You will find Floraโ€™s rifle inside. Dispose of the spirits that spawn and light up the campfire. Amongst the number of items, you will find Theodoreโ€™s notebook and his Wolftraps. Drop down the awning on the right.

Run out and head back to the murder site. Perform the Harkening ritual and watch the murder unfold. Now turn to the left and around the stairs to head down to where Floraโ€™s body fell. Follow the path down and inspect the echo about the gunpowder incident. Keep heading down and Antea will point out a bag hanging from a tree. Go to the right and jump across the fallen bridge โ€“ switch to Antea to see through the fog and run to the right and up the path. Teleport across the large gap โ€“ and keep going up. Remove the obstacles and kill the enemy here. Turn back around and back to the clearing.  Go straight down this path and to the right to find a hut with dead dogs and a cart outside.

Go near the tree and shoot the bag down. Pick up Helen Preeseโ€™s Letter and turn around โ€“ head north up the path and pick any option you see fit to answer Antea.

Turn to the right when the path splits โ€“ and jump across the gap. The way through is blocked so bruise the heart and shoot the roots to clear the path. One on the right on the mountain side, one on a tree right infront and one at the bottom on the left.

Kill the enemies that spawn and you can see Theodoreโ€™s hut on the left. Confront Theodore and hand over his notebook and his traps. Follow the conversation through and you will receive the choices to Blame Theodore and Ascend or Banish Flora.

Choosing Banish or Ascend โ€“ the outcome is the same, Flora goes to the afterlife. Blaming Theodore will let you harvest his soul for Anteaโ€™s resurrection. Choose wisely.
