The Haunting Case: Prudence in All things start at the location in the map below –
Walk up to the hut on the right and knock on the door.
Go in and inspect the map on the table on the left.
Next, inspect the pot in the fireplace on the right. Take the leather on the left and then go to the room on the right – pick up Prudence’s Letter from the table next to the window. Then inspect the letter on top of the shelf at the foot of the bed. Switch to Antea and then Reveal the writings on the walls by inspecting on the bucket next to the wall.
Go to the room with the fireplace and inspect the writing on the wall next to the back window. Head out of the cabin and make your way to the marked location on the map.
Once you get there, Prudence will start speaking in French.
Continue the conversation with her – asking her who she was talking to. After she leaves you will receive a hint about Prudence. You are now going to follow the trail of the numbers.
Head to the left and climb up the ledge and go straight. Once you reach the path lit up torches, go to the left and you will see a climbable wall, turn to the left and drop down the ledge with the numbers.
After the ghost disappears, break the debris to find a cache of papers. Inspect them to find Prudence’s Cipher. You will now learn that Prudence is a French spy. Turn to the left and climb out. Follow the map marker to the next location and head towards the cave opening with the numbers. Take out the spirits and ghouls that spawn. Crawl through the narrow opening – switch to Antea on the other side and interact with the pedestal to reveal a memory and to pick up the Crested Seal.
You are going to have to the track the ghost down now.
Head back out to the right and you will see the ghost outside, follow him. Go through the narrow gap in the cliffs on the right and kill the spirits inside. After that climb up the wall, behind you. Then head into the cave on the left and pass through. As you near the bridge it will collapse, so jump across the gap. Follow the path and avoid the obstacles set off by Thomas. Kill the Alpha Tormented he spawns as well as the ghouls and the assorted spirits. Follow Thomas by climbing up the ledge he was standing on. You will see another ledge you can drop off of on the left. Go down there.
Inspect the stain on the left and you will find the murder/suicide weapon, a chisel. Climb up the pathway to talk to Thomas. After the conversation, Prudence will show up. Speak to her and then either choose to Blame Prudence or Ascend/Banish Thomas. Choose wisely.
Regardless of what you choose to do you will receive 1 Essence and 1200 XP.
