The Haunting Case: Hammer and Tongs starts here in the location marked on the map below.

Begin by inspecting the workbench on the right first. Inspect the puddle of salt water to the left next.

After that inspect the drill bit on the workbench on the left and the brittle nails on the table outside. All this will add up to a hint.

Run to the back of the hut and a cutscene will ensue. You will meet Nellie Heayton and you should carry the conversation out with her.

After the conversation, turn back around and go into the house again. There is a Spectral Mark near the bed. Take the Wild Chervil and the Leather and read the Journal on the bedside table, as well as the letter from the Governor on the study table on the other side. After all that, inspect the bed and perform the Harkening. Watch the scene play out.

Run out to the entrance of the workshop now and switch to Antea. You can reveal the footprints in the mud as Antea.

Follow the footsteps, over the bridge and past the tree. Go past the house and to the right – follow the path lit up by torches. Squeeze through the opening and climb over the ledge and keep moving. Climb up the ledge and over the hill into Fiery Grove.

Run up to the hut on the left and you will see it is locked. Run back around to the the other side and you will come up behind the hut. You will see two Alpha wolves barricading the door. Dispatch the wolves. When they are dead, Fortune will come out of the hut.

After the conversation with Fortune, you will receive the second hint from him. Enter the cabin – loot the Wild Chervil and Leather, as well as the gold. After that interact with the tools on the table. You will receive the first hint about the ghost. Break the lock on the door and head out. Antea will now pick up another trail. Switch to her and follow the trail picking up the various plants and loot on the way. Eventually you will reach a quarry – you have to get down there.

Turn around and run to the right – once you reach the dead end, you can find a climbable wall on the left. Get up there and use Antea’s powers to cross over.

Drop down and turn to the right, shimmy across the narrow ledge to pick up some Pyrite and loot. Shimmy back across and run to the broken bridge. At the far end you can use your rope to climb down, turn around and get down to the floor. Kill the spirits here among the boats. Inspect the hammer and watch the scene unfold.

After picking up the hammer, perform a ritual – Make-Manifest to summon the ghost. Run to the left, towards the water to find the ghost. Engage in rousing conversation with him – and then return to the blacksmith’s house. Confront Nellie and the impostor.

Blaming Nellie and Arther will contribute to Antea’s resurrection and either ascending or banishing Fortune will move him on to the afterlife. Choose wisely.
