The Haunting Case : The Stench from The Trench starts at the location marked on the map below.
Climb up the ramp and speak to Andrew.
After speaking to him, head to the barracks.
Inspect the medal on the bottom shelf of the bed side table.
Next, inspect the papers on the stool to the left. Leave the barracks and head to the Armory. Run past the tents and the armory is the large building on the left. Head to the upper floor and go to the right and inspect the papers in the shelf.
Exit the armory and head to the infirmary now. It’s the large one-storey building opposite the armory. Enter the room on the right and switch to Antea to inspect the medical report on the bookshelf.
Run back to Andrew and speak to him again. As you approach Andrew a ghost will appear – speak to him. Switch to Antea and follow the ghost. As you follow the trail you will be jumped by spirits, take them out and keep following the trail. At the end of the trail, inspect the grave of Joshua Gouge.
Next, inspect the spectral writing on the walls.
Turn around after you are done and follow the ghost again. Once you crawl outside, you will be jumped again. Kill the spirits and keep moving. Rappel down your rope at the trail’s end and clear out the spirits again. Keep moving after the ghost and inspect the pistol on the stone formation and watch the cutscene. Talk to the ghost after and he will tell you what he wants. Run back to Andrew and confront him.
You can choose to Ascend/Banish Joshua or Blame Andrew. Choose wisely.
No matter what you choose you will receive +1200 XP and +1 Essence.
