The Haunting Case: Through a Glass Darkly starts at the location marked on the map below.

Talk to John, who is praying on the ground.

Go past him and enter the house, after the conversation is done. Switch to Antea once you are inside, and you will see spectral footprints. Inspect them and then inspect the letter on the table. Finally, inspect the hangar on the wall to pick up a key. Exit the house and enter the barn in front. Inside the barn inspect the ghost’s memory and perform a harkening ritual on the spectral spot. Turn around and inspect the letters on the table. Head out of the barn and talk to John who is chopping wood. You are now off to find the cliff where Abigail died upon. Turn around and head out of the village, the cliff is marked on the map.

Enter the small crawlspace into the mine and run through to the end and squeeze out the other side. Once outside run up to the bluff and you will find the spot she died in. Reveal what the spirit had to say at the spot and pick up the broken mirror. Now you have to head down the cliff. Take the path on the right of where she died and head down.

Once you reach the teleport point don’t use it, turn around and you will see a path heading down. Take the path and head downwards and cross over the fallen bridge. At the end of the path before dropping down, shoot the roots with Antea.

Just to the left is the first heart.

Move slightly to the left and you will see the second heart on the bottom right side.

Head back up the path, jump over both gaps and you will find the 3^rd heart.

Head back up and teleport to the other side now. Follow the path down and fight the enemies that spawn. After killing them all, inspect the big rock in the middle for a blood stain. Pick up the mirror piece and assemble the mirror.

Head back up the path and back to John to ask him about the mirror. On your way back, you will run into Abigail. Go back to John after the conversation with her and have a conversation with him. After that, head out of the house and take the path to the left and head for Bligh Estate.

You will find the front door locked, so head to the back and enter the house. You will run into another Heart/Root puzzle. Shoot the root from the landing at the top of the stairs.

The first heart is under the root and the second is to the right.

 The third is on top in the chandelier.

Head down the stairs and enter the room on the right. Another puzzle.

Shoot the roots first on the right.

The first heart is on the left.

Go out of the room and look up – the second heart is on top.

That should clear the puzzle. Head to the pantry in the back, another puzzle. Shoot the root outside the pantry.

Shoot the first heart just beyond the roots, infront of the window.

Turn to the right to shoot the second one.

Go to the top floor and to the right. Enter the room at the end of the corridor and inspect the diary on the table to pick up the master keys to the estate. Head back out and go around the stairs to the other side to the master bedroom.

Inspect the velvet mirror box and perform harkening on the spectral stain. After the cutscene, Abigail appears. Talk to her. After the conversation is over, chase after “Abigail”. Jump down through the hole in the floor and take the enemies out. After they are dispatched, shoot the root with Antea.

Shoot the first heart on the top right corner.

Turn around and shoot the second heart.

Finally the third heart is behind the pillar on the right.

Head up to the master bedroom and confront the couple. This is a slightly different choice. You can either choose to Banish Abigail or the demon pretending to be Abigail or Blame John. If you choose to Banish “Abigail” there is no Ascent for the real Abigail. Blaming John is the only way to give Abigail a peaceful ascent. Choose wisely.
