The Haunting Case : Home Lies where the Heart lies starts at the location marked on the map below.
Investigate Squire Parris’s store. Inside you will meet Jane. Play out the conversation between Jane and the ghost and you will be asked to leave the shop. The ghost will appear again outside and talk to Antea. After your conversation with Sincere, investigate Jane’s house.
Inspect the note on the table and the book in the bookcase. After that inspect the note on the bed. Your goal now will be open Sincere’s safe. Go back to the store as you see Jane leave. Head to the back and inspect the notes for a Doctor’s letter. Head to the right side of the store and you will a glowing rock. Shoot it and pick up the key that drops.
After picking up the key, turn around and head to the back and open the chest. Pick up the documents inside and you will find Jane’s contract. Leave the store and talk to Sincere again. You have to find Jane’s hunting tower in the “Fiery Grove”. You can follow the map marker and run all the way over there or if you have unlocked the resting place – fast travel to this location on the map. The closest location I had unlocked was the High Cave shelter.
Head to the right from the Shelter – and you will come across a blocked off bridge.
Switch to Antea and shoot the roots in the middle and then switch to Red to shoot the rocks on the top right corner, left corner and through the hole on the bridge the one at the bottom. The sequence is on a timer so be quick.
Cross the bridge and take the right path. Drop down the ledge and keep heading straight – through the fallen tree and up the ledge. Kill the spirits that show up when you find Jane’s tower. Head to the right as you get up on the hill and pass through the roots here by switching to Antea.
Climb up to the top of the tower and inspect the map and the rings. Climb down and head to the back and you will find a chest filled with gunpowder. Run out of the camp – ducking under the tree. You are headed to this location on the map.
Fast travel to the Old Marsh Encampment Shelter – once there, drop down and head to the left. Go through the gate and cross the fallen log bridge and make your way through. Jump into the clearing and kill the spirits that spawn. Inspect the carriage with the hummingbird sign.
Aim to the top left and shoot the rock holding the bridge up.
After the bridge drops run up the walls and make your way there – back the way you came. Drop down the ledge at the end and shimmy through to the other side. Turn to the right and climb up the ledge. Inspect the corpse a few meters ahead and then keep going – you can track the quest by switching to Antea. Head to the wall on the far end and you will have to shoot the roots and bruise the heart again.
Run to the hut on the left and move up. Switch to Antea to shoot the root here – clear the debris so you have a clear shot to the heart on the wall. Switch to Red and bruise the heart on the wall.
Drop down and turn to the left to shoot the second heart through an opening in the wall.
Then turn to the left and shoot the last heart on top, in the roof.
Go back to the wall and climb up as the path has now cleared. Head out of the camp and kill the Alpha Glutton that spawns, along with the other spirits and ghouls. Head up the path on the right after clearing out all the enemies and inspect the letter at the dilapidated carriage.
Turn left and get up on the carriage near the ramparts and then climb up to the roof.
Jump over to the roof and shoot the bar on the door on the other side.
Jump over to the roof on the left and drop down the hole on the roof – inspect the letter on the table. Head out the door and cross the bridge to the other part of the house. Fast travel to the Hunters’ Camp Shelter and follow the map marker to confront Sincere at his grave.
After talking to Sincere, go talk to Jane to bring closure to her. Follow the map marker to Jane. After the cutscene you will have the option to Blame Jane or Ascend/Banish Sincere.
Whatever you choose you will get 1200 XP and +1 Essence as well at the Squire Parris’ Ephemeral Goods Store’s key. Choose wisely.
