Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown walkthrough.

From the fast travel point in The Galleon in the Raging Sea, fast travel to the Day Temple point in the Upper City. Head to the right once you reach there and go up the big elevator with the two statues. Head to the right and exit the area. Keep going to the right till you reach the location in the map below – where the chain is going up and head upwards.

Once you get up to the big chandelier, take out the enemies over there and keep moving and pick up the time crystals on top. Once you reach the very top, go to the right and exit the area. In the next area, there will be an enemy shooting homing arrows at you. Keep moving at pace past him and into the next room, past the signs and keep going right. You will come up to a rotating lift, jump and dodge both the archers with the homing arrows as you wait for the platform to come around so you can jump up on it.

Once you get up, kill the archer on the left and then take the platform all the way around and hit the switch on the roof on the other side.

Drop down and take the other archer out and move to the left and up on to the balcony in the room with the sign. Head to the left and take the archer out here. Jump off the ledge on to another rotating platform and take it up.

Ride it over and across to the other side and hit the switch on the roof here.

Get back on the platform again, but time time on the smaller platform closer to the center and ride it back to the other side and jump off the balcony on the top at the right side.

You can pick up a Sand Vial here. Activate the switch next to the Sand Vial and head out. Take the rotating platform here up and keeping bearing left, till you reach a platform on top where you can find the Amulet: Void Blade (14/36), which sends an energy wave in the direction of the attack, dealing slight damage. Location is in the map below –

Head to the left and get on the rotating platform. Go around and drop down to the lower floor on the other side to exit the area through the door on the left.

Run through this new area and you will meet Menolias again. Keep going till you reach the place where you can head down, there is a water fall in the back ground. Drop down the wooden platforms while avoiding the traps.

This is a very involved traversal puzzle and once you have gone through here and picked up the time crystals you will come out here – as seen on the map.

Go up to the top from here and take the exit up there to exit the area. Keep going to the left and heading upwards till you reach this location on the map.

There is a puzzle with two platforms here. Set a teleport point on the right platform first, activate the switch and teleport there and immediately jump to the left and set a teleport point there.

Activate the switch on the right and teleport to the new point and jump up to grab the handhold. Get up and to the roof to find a Wak-Wak tree and a fast travel point. Head to the left and use the switch and go through the gate that just opened and drop down the opening in the middle of the room. Drop down and grab on to the pole and wait till the spike wall moves back, jump over to the right as far as you can go and set a teleport point there and dash back.

Keep repeating this move for the all the traps below and then drop down and go to the right to unlock the gate. You can drop down in the location shown in the map below for an Azure Damascus Ingot. There are two enemies and a platforming puzzle down below.

Otherwise, go to the left and through the platforming challenge, head up. You will have to heavily employ the teleport here to get past. This is hard so take your time. Once you are through you will have reached the roof.

Keep heading to the left and prepare for a boss fight.

Boss : Menolias

Menolias shoots a stage length arrow that you can jump and dash to close the distance between him and you.

He jumps in the air and sets up stars that are homing mines that close in on your position.

While you are dodging these, he will jump around and shoot arrows at you.

He will shoot multiple arrows at you that you can parry.

If you whale on him too hard and stick too close to him, he will counter with an explosion.

Phase 2 starts at 75% health, he shoots multiple arrows all over the stage. Dodge as much as you can.

Menolias will also charge himself up and fight with his Chakram now. He will throw it and recall it immediately after the cut scene. He is faster now and I think he hits harder too.

In between Chakram tosses he repeats all the previous moves.

He does his charged arrow blast three times in quick succession at three angles.

Once you kill him you get the “Fists and Arrows” Achievement. You will also unlock the ability – Chakram Shadow of the Simugh – it will allow you to use your teleport ability on the Chakram, and you can use it to teleport through locked gates. You will also receive the Athra Surge: Rasgnu’s Judgement. If you go to the left from here, you can pick up a Soma Tree Petal and summon the third Celestial Guardian.
