As the demo begins, engage in conversation with the Immortals. After that, move to the right on the Old Royal Road. Go through the tutorial as it teaches you how to jump, wall jump and high jump as you enter the Lower City. You can drop down in the middle of the area but there is nothing down there.

Keep moving right and watch the cutscene play out as the Immortals enter the fray. After the cut scene, go through the fight tutorial. You can go left and swing on the blue pole to get up but there is nothing through there in the demo. So head right โ€“ there is a path down right before the fallen tower but there isnโ€™t a path through, so keep going right to learn how to parry.

After that jump up the platforms and exit through the right path. In the next area, wall jump on to the pole and get up on the platform. Go right then swing down on the poles and head down. Go left to read a sign after kicking a lever to drop a platform. Keep heading right and exit the area. In the next area, jump up the platform and swing up the pole to smash a crystal on the roof.

Now swing over to the right and drop down the platform to fight the enemies, be wary of the archer on the higher platform. There is a flying enemy next. Take it out and move on. In the next room, take out the enemy on the floor but be aware of the enemy on top as it drops bombs which will go through the platform where the floor is wooden.

Go up and take the enemies out and head up. There will be an archer on top whose attacks you can deflect back. Move to the left and wall jump up to the platform where the archer was and head right. Wall run to the next platform and drop down.

Read the sign below and move to the right to find a Wak-Wak tree. You can find amulets and Athra Surge powers here. A young girl shows up and gives you Eye of the Wanderer, which is essentially your map. You will also unlock Memory Shards, which gives you the ability to take a picture of a location you canโ€™t reach currently and adds it to the map. This feature is a must for all metroidvanias going forward.

Exit through the door on the right. Fight the enemy with the shield and spear and slide under the fallen pillar. Get up on the platform and go right to take out the enemy. Jump across the retractable platform and then wall jump up the spikes to get more time crystals.

Drop down and head left now, go up the previous spiked walls by wall jumping.

Go left then wall jump off the wall on the right, dash and jump up on the left side platform to activate the lever. This will bring down the bridge. Move to the left and take out the enemy here. On the far left there is  secret room.

Go across the drawbridge now and pick up the time crystal. Kill the enemy that spawns and move to the left, bring up the drawbridge and wall jump up to the top.

Once you are up top, you will see a structure in the air, break it apart to reverse time to fix the area. Go to the far left and wall jump onto the platform you just fixed. Move right and you will find another star like structure. Break this apart too.

It will spawn two flying enemies alongside fixing the level. Move to the left and wall jump on top of the scales.

If you go to the left you will find a locked doorway so move to the right and use your chakram to break another of those star structures down and the level will fix itself. Move to the right and wall jump up.

Another blocked door on the left. Move to the right now to find a chest with the Deluxe Editionโ€™s Immortal Skin.

Drop down and head right now, past the two statues and up the stairs. Keep going right and bring the elevator down and head up to the Upper City โ€“ West. The left side path is closed so head right and go up. Slide through the gap on the right and up the spiked walls.

At the very top, head left and there will be a swinging guillotine corridor. Drop down and follow the path for a time crystal at the bottom. Get back up and go through the second guillotine corridor. You will fight an enemy with a spear. Here is where I died and restarted back at the Wak-Wak tree. Make it back to the elevator room, kill the enemy and you will hit a dead end. Go back down and go right to find The Haven this time.

Jump up the platform and use the portal to enter Kahevaโ€™s Forge. You will meet a cool Blacksmith and she will forge weapons for you. Go back out to the Haven and go right. Drop down to find a mage.

Go right from the Mage to find a Wak-Wak tree. Go to the right back into the Lower City. Take out the Axe wielder and jump up the wall holds and jump on the moving platforms.

Clear out all the enemies and drop down to the bottom floor.  Head left at the bottom and jump over the swinging pole of death and slide through. Next, wall jump through the spikes and land on the other side. On the next obstacle, watch for the highest point of the swing and slide through.

On the next part, slide down the wall and jump off when there are spikes and keep heading down by wall sliding.

Jump on to the ledge on the right once you are bottom. There are two rotating saws of death now. Platform through on to the top. Next, slide down and vault over the spikes and on to the other side. Exit Lower City through the right hand path and you will discover Hyrcanian Forest. Drop down  and head right. Slide through on the bottom path to find a time crystal.

Turn left and head up the folding leaves and turn at the top to exit the area on the right. Use your charge attack to open the doorway and step through to find a Wak-Wak tree. Drop down the wooden platforms and head to the right to the three pillars.

Jump off the first pillar and hit the flower bud to open up a leaf platform.

Jump across the pillars and then slide through the next area to find a time crystal on the roof. Drop back down and go to the right, once again hitting the flower bud to create a platform and jump up and exit the area through the right. Jump across the platform in the next area and use your arrows  to open up another leaf platform.

Repeat the process as you head up. At the top drop down on the other side for time crystals and then head back up and go left through the door at the top. Back inside the lower city you will find a Wak-Wak tree. Read the sign and exit through the door on the left on top of the stairs. Keep heading up the stairs and wall jump up through the vent on the ceiling. As you open the door, you will be face to face with Jahandar and the demo ends.
