Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for The Wild at Heart. This story-oriented walkthrough will guide you through completing the game’s story.

After Grey Coat tells you to retire for the day, go sleep at your house north of the warp pad.
After the dream sequence and the cutscenes, you’ll have your new objectives: to retrieve three artifacts. For these, you will have to re-visit Crystalfall Coast, Frostfields, and Wispwagon, in that order.
Begin by increasing your spriteling capacity to at least 35 using the Soul Shell at the Grove.
Then, fill up your team to have at least 35 spritelings and head to Crystalfall Coast using the warp pads.
Head north from the warp pad and use your 35 spritelings to move the big boulder.
Free up the Spirit Well to build your camp at Crystalfall Coast. When you’re ready to proceed, head north from the camp.
Use your spritelings to break down the ruined wall and then head past it. Talk to the creature here to get your next objective.
Now return to camp and go slightly east to the ruined arcade machine. Here, toss eight of your spritelings onto the hole with the bubbles coming out of it. They will be able to retrieve the wooden sticks this way.
The second set of sticks is in Cath’s den. You can grab these easily as Cath doesn’t seem too possessive of them.
Once the bridge is complete, head west and jump off the ledge. In this area, fight off the Lotblops to give you some peace of mind. Remember that they spawn Lilblops!
After the coast is clear (heh), you will notice the purple spritelings trapped high on the pillar of stone. You need to grab them, so have a look at the wooden barrel just to their east.
Use your vacuum or lantern to get the spiky things away from the barrel and open the way forward.
Head straight north to the pond and look for a log to the west.
Squeeze through it as Kirby. Head south and use the lantern on the corruption node to clear up the corruption nearby.
Head to where the corruption was and go south on that cliff to get close to the pillar with the purple spritelings. Use your vaccum or lantern’s high power mode to bring them over and be introduced to: Barblings!
From here on out, we have to use the barblings in tandem with the other spritelings to access the oyster piles and send them over to Cath.
