Chapter 4 (Rescuing Squinty the Cat)

We’re now by an abandoned building, and our goal is to get Squinty down from the darn tree. There’s a ladder that should help, but it’s tied firmly to the wall.

Begin by using the hammer from your inventory on the rightmost window (the one that has a single plank boarding it up).

Lucy will acquire a shard of glass, which you can use on the rope that secures the ladder to the wall. Now grab the ladder to have Lucy go rescue Squinty the cat.

After a conversational scene, you’ll be back home. You can now use your songs again, huzzah!

Use Mom’s Song on the diary page (you can’t really do anything else at this specific moment) to proceed with the game.
